

Belle Ting (Violin) & Cleveland Symphony Orchestra Prof. Dora Schwarzberg & Belle Ting
Belle Ting (Violin) won the First Prize of the 2015 Cooper competition, an award that included US$10,000, in addition to being eligible for a full-tuition scholarship to the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. She currently studies with Prof. Dora Schwarzberg at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, as well as with Prof. Lucia Hall at the Johann Sebastian Bach Music School.
In the summer of 2010, the Oberlin Conservatory of Music joined with the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra to offer a new international competition for young musicians, between the ages of 14 and 18. The International Thomas and Evon Cooper Competition features more than US$20,000 in prize money and the final round at Severance Hall, where the top three competitors will perform their respective concertos, allows the finalists to perform with the renowned Cleveland Symphony Orchestra.
