Pianist André Boainain, he was born in Brazil, graduated from the Salzburg Mozarteum in Austria and Freiburg School of Music in Germany.

He studied with the world-renowned pianists including Dieter Weber at the Vienna College of Music, Hans Leygraf and Tatjana Nikolajeva at the Salzburg Mozarteum, Vitalij Margulis at the Freiburg School of Music.

André Boainain is prize winner of many major international competitions such as Vienna Stepanof, Cita di Senigalia in Italy, Geneva International Competition, Paolo Neglia, Premio Jaen in Spain, William Capell in the United States and Busoni international Competition in Italy, and he has been recognized as one of the international pianists. 

Pianist Boainain has appeared as a soloist with the Suisse Romande Orchestra in Swiss, Heidelberger Orchestra, Sao Paulo Sinfonie Orchestra in Brazil, Royal Scottish Orchestra in Scotland, Euro Asian Orchestra in Korea and Gyeonggi Philharmonic Orchestra in Korea, he has held the spotlight through his polished and passionate performances.

He released recordings and performed with his large repertoires all over Europe and, in the United States, Brazil, Israel, Thailand, Japan, and Australia, and he was as jury member for several International Competitions.

Prof. Boainain appeared as an out-standing educator, he was an instructor at the Karlsruhe National University of Music in Germany , professor at the German School of Music Weimar of Kangnam University and a guest professor at the Hamburg College of Music.

Currently he is educating students as Professor for piano at the Kangnam University of Seoul in Korea

André Boainain supports humanitarian activities of Lions Club Vienna MozART.
