Géza Hosszu-Legocky was educated in the University for Classical Music and Performing Arts in Austria and studied with Dora Schwarzberg, Ruggiero Ricci, Ivry Gitlis, Ida Haendel and Tibor Varga. 

 

 

He played on the Stradivarius 1715 "Joachim" kindly loaned by Nippon Music Foundation of Japan. 

His partnerships include artists like Martha Argerich, Nelson Freire, Gautier Capucon, Renaud Capucon, Gidon Kremer, Vadim Repin, Gabriela Montero, Lily & Mischa Maisky and Giorgia Tomassi. 

 

 

Géza is known for his passionate and fiery interpretations of classical, jazz and Hungarian gypsy music. 

He gives Master Classes in Japan, and he is an Honoray President of the Music School of Sao Paulo.

He supports humanitarian activities of Lions Club Wien MozART.
